We plan to take online donations in the near future.
I have Type 1 Diabetes, how can I join Team Courage?
Team Courage is exclusively for children and young people with Type 1 diabetes who intend
to get the most out of their opportunity of life, despite the difficulty and challenges
that Type 1 diabetes presents. To be eligible for any current or future programs offered
by Kids With Courage, you must become a member of Team Courage. The
'Team Courage Application Form', can be downloaded from the forms page on this site, or you can
contact us to request an application form be sent to you.
Just complete, the application form and mail it to the address listed on the form.
Why are your programs only available to children with Type 1 diabetes, and not Type 2?
That's a good question. Primarily because the two diseases are quite different, from a scientific
perspective. By narrowing our focus on just Type 1 diabetes, we feel we can be more specialized,
and therefore more competent and successful in fulfilling our mission.
How will my donation be helpful?
All funds are devoted to advancing the foundation's mission through direct support of
programs and services or the development of fundraising to further support our
programs and services.
